Online Today: Helping People with Sensory Loss Get Online (Portadown)
Tuesday, 29 September, 2015 - 11:00 - 13:00
People with sight loss in Northern Ireland are invited to attend free training workshops to help them get online.
Online Today is a new Big Lottery funded project led by RNIB, delivered in partnership, to help people with sensory loss across the UK get online.
We know that technology can make everyone’s lives easier, but knowing where to start isn't always easy if you've got sensory loss.
Our teams will help you realise the benefits of being online – whether getting regular sports or weather updates, or learning how to use social media.
We will give you the information and knowledge to increase your skills, make you feel confident using technology and help you to stay safe online. We will explore your needs and provide the right support through a two-hour workshops with demonstrations of products such as laptops, tablets, smartphones and eReaders.
These free sessions will be delivered across Northern Ireland.
