Older people should not reduce exercise

Active older people may reduce their risk of a heart attack if they increase their activity levels as they age, a new study suggests. According to US and Portuguese scientists, people over the age of 65 should ‘not slow down' as they get older.The study found that those who walked more and at faster speeds had fewer irregular heart rhythms and a healthier heart rate than those who were less active.Read more here.
